Dave (along with Barbara of course) was extremely helpful and supportive to his neighbour Dorothy in many practical ways, especially during the years following the death of her husband Joe in 2005 until she moved into a retirement home last year at the age of 90. Dorothy and her family will always be immensely grateful for this kindness.
